Refund Policy
Effective Date: May 1, 2025
1. Overview
At Artventory, we are committed to delivering high-quality work and ensuring client satisfaction. Due to the custom nature of our services, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both parties. Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.
2. Deposits
All projects require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins. This deposit covers the time, research, and resources allocated to your project from day one. Once work has commenced, this deposit cannot be refunded.
3. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a partial or full refund of amounts paid beyond the deposit if:
- Artventory fails to begin work within the agreed timeline without a valid reason
- Artventory is unable to deliver the agreed scope of work
- You request cancellation before any work on the current phase has started
Refunds will not be issued if:
- Work has already been delivered or is substantially complete
- The project is delayed due to the client's failure to provide content, feedback, or approvals
- You change your mind about the project after work has begun
- Dissatisfaction is based on personal preference rather than failure to meet the agreed scope
4. Cancellation by Client
If you wish to cancel a project after work has begun:
- Work completed up to the point of cancellation will be billed at our standard hourly rate
- Any amount paid beyond the deposit that exceeds the work completed will be refunded
- Partial deliverables completed up to the cancellation date belong to Artventory until all outstanding balances are settled
5. Cancellation by Artventory
In the rare event that Artventory must cancel a project:
- You will be notified promptly and given a full explanation
- A full refund of any payments made beyond the deposit will be issued within 10 business days
- Partial deliverables completed up to that point will be shared with the client
6. Revision Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with a deliverable, we encourage you to first request revisions within the agreed revision rounds outlined in your proposal. We are committed to working with you until the result meets the agreed scope and quality standards.
Refunds will not be issued solely on the basis of creative preference if the work meets the agreed brief.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days and returned via the original payment method. Artventory is not responsible for any delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
8. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
